PRESIDENTE. Il punto all’ordine del giorno reca: “Proposta dipartimento Protezione civile
in occasione del primo anniversario del terremoto che ha colpito la città de L’Aquila”.
Come avrete sicuramente capito, il 1 aprile – che era giovedì scorso – a mezzogiorno è
arrivato un fax da parte del Prefetto Pecoraro, il quale formulava una proposta di
convocazione di un Consiglio comunale per il 6 aprile 2010, in occasione della ricorrenza del

3.32 una forte scossa di terremoto, seguita da molte altre, ha devastato l’Aquila e altri comuni
dell’alto Abruzzo, causando trecentootto morti, migliaia di feriti e decine di migliaia di
senzatetto, per cui oggi ricorre il primo avversario di questo tragico evento. Questa tragedia
umana ha segnato profondamente e toccato sensibilmente la nostra moralità e il nostro dovere
civile verso coloro che hanno vissuto in prima persona l’avvenimento e che con dignità e
umile compostezza civile hanno affrontato e sopportano con grande forza d’animo il ricordo
dei propri cari scomparsi, nonché la perdita dei beni costruiti in una vita. A tal proposito, il
dipartimento di Protezione civile, a firma di Guido Bertolaso – contestualmente a quella del
signor Prefetto – ha inviato una lettera con la quale invita i Sindaci a convocare Consigli

Protezione civile a livello comunale e intercomunale, sulla base di indirizzi regionali e della
