La possibile condanna a morte per Bradley Manning e il processo che non c'è stato

Note the very good and always on time Fabio Chiusi on his blog
You can call it "democracy" a state with a political prisoner of 23 years is held from July 29, 2010
  • in solitary confinement for 23
  • hour without being able to have access to news from the outside world at the hour remaining
  • without being able to do more than an hour of exercise a day
  • no sleep between five and eight in the morning
  • evening the guards each have five minutes to check his health condition complete with a ritual question (are you okay?) and waiting for a response as a ritual (I'm okay)
  • the guards if, verifying its health status of night, they find it curled up under blankets or wall, or it is not identifiable for any other reason they have to wake up and repeat the above procedure
  • without being able to eat his meals in that cell without
  • to have some personal items, even a pillow, which is one with the mattress
  • rapid deterioration in conditions of psycho-physical
  • not only without having ever had any convictions but even a regular process?
You can call it "democracy" instead of condemning a state with no ifs, ands or buts about it this inhumane treatment of "death penalty"?
The news of the death penalty which would be likely going to meet Bradley Manning, one of the deep gorges that Iraq passed confidential information to Wikileaks, it is the MSNBC. On this blog, I had spoken at length of the file transmitted by Manning including the famous "Collateral Murders," which was perhaps one of the most interesting documents released by the website of Julian Assange. Telling the story of Military wondered if it came a new chapter to add to the "Pentagon Papers". Apparently not so and a 23 year-old is serving his prison caartteristiche with all the above without having undergone a process even by the "largest democracy in the world."

The question is not so deep that even led to talk of justice of the death penalty. Here we are still at stages prior to the issue, we are still talking to conduct a fair trial that probably will not be.
