Ho l’impressione Always finish the tournament on the bubble. I have to play more closed when I get close to the money or do I try to win as many chips from the first hand?
These three questions all have the same answer: it is useless to try to force your game. We must concentrate on playing solid poker and then the chips will go in the right direction.

This is probably the best answer to any question on how to play a tournament. A more important question is this: what is the difference between the cash game strategy and the tournament?

The answer is less than you think.

before worrying about how to play a tournament, concentrated on how to adapt your game according to opponents. One of the most important qualities of a good player is the ability to react to your opponents' style of play. Players are able to do so will be successful both in cash and in tournaments.

One of the most common mistakes when you play a tournament is just the fact that they too want to adapt their game to the tournament. Let us read some of the initial questions: How many chips should I get after the first two levels?

The answer is simple: as many as possible.

play with the cards in your hand. Play against your opponent. It is useless to force your game just because you think you "need" to have a certain number chips to win. You have to think of winning chips and at the same time keep the ones you have. Your chances of winning increase as you accumulate chips. If you have a few chips, then your chances decrease.

Forget the magic number. There is a figure below which you have no chance of winning and at the same time there is no maximum number that guarantees the right peace. Remain attached to the number of chips is certainly a way to return home early. The next question is:

I play a lot of hands when the blinds are low and then play more closed when the blinds increase?

The way you play where you do not change much as the tournament progresses. You have to develop a strategy that allows you to maximize your wins against your opponents, beyond the level of play. Many players are too loose in the early stages of a tournament. Instead of playing like them, fit the way you play their style and try to steal the blinds less often, more often called their bids and make the raises against more frequently. When

then the players become more closed, you can try to steal the blinds more often and you should try not to take part in dishes where other players have entered unless you have a good point in hand. This should be a reaction to the play style of your opponents, not an action based on stage of the tournament.

The last question is: Should I play more closed when I get close to the money or do I try to win as many chips from the first hand?

Usually, people who are already playing this question closed long before making the money. In other words, too are adapting their game to the fact of playing a tournament. It is not a correct move to play too close when there are two or three more players before making the money. This way you will surely play out in the bubble. Continue playing tight and aggressive and not let go of your stack to a point where you could not protect it with a raise all in pre-flop.
